What materials are used?
In the final treatment of our products we use "Indian Gum Lacca", a natural resin with excellent properties and exceptional versatility. The only known commercial resin of animal origin is the hardened secretion of a small insect (Kerria lacca). Shellac as a natural organic resin with biodegradable properties is one of the many gifts of nature that mankind received.
